The monks took again the culture of the vine here at the XII century
and maintaining without them the tradition continues. It is into 1908
that Gustave Fayet and his wife, Madeleine d' Andoque de Sériège,
become purchasers of the abbey. In this exceptional place that they restore
magnificiently many activities for the tourists are organized: visits
of the abbey, concerts, exhibitions, tasting, restaurant, reception in
our lodging the House on the Bridge, Hirings of rooms for congress, seminars
or other receptions.

ABBAYE
DE VALMAGNE à Villeveyrac (Aa) (Rs)

Languedoc/Grès de Montpellier, Vin de Pays des Collines de la Moure.
In this abbey founded in 1138 magnificiently preserved the monks
cultivated already the vine In 1820 the barrels in oak of Russia were
installed in the nave of the church and were worth to him its nickname
of cathedral of the vines. Vineyard partly bio and historic building are
always there to accomodate you for visits, to attend our concerts and
various demonstrations. Church, Cloister, Refectory and contiguous rooms
can be placed at the disposal for meetings conferences marriages dinners
of official reception (50 to 500 people)

This year, for the very first time, we are making wine of our own. A red
wine of guaranteed vintage.
We have also one thousand olive trees and we produce ourself the oil.
Of course, you can taste wine and olive oil with us!
If you want to come here for a week-end, holidays or just a few days,
we can put an ecological self-catering holiday cottage (solar energy)
at your disposition (for 5 people at most).
And you are welcome to tour the estate, to view the plantations, to visit
the archeological site and our wine cellar

Wine grower " but also art lovers, is convenient for you to discover
their vintage wines and to share their passions. Entered biodynamic culture

BORDE
ROUGE (Château Prieuré) à Lagrasse (Eb) (G) (M)

Lagrasse, blanc, rosé et rouge, Vin de pays d'Oc rouge.
The Borde-Rouge priory is as old as the abbey at Lagrasse on which it
depended. Since their arrival in the 9th century, the Benedictine monks
contributed heavily to the development of the domaine, creating a large
vegetable patch and exploiting the benefits of the sulphurous spring waters
that run through the grounds.
They soon recognised the value of the top quality soils of the area and
armed with experience and knowledge of vine-growing, the monks, and generations
of wine-growers that followed them, cultivated the grounds into beautiful
countryside where vines and woody scrub co-exist harmoniously.
The soils of Château Prieuré Borde-Rouge benefit from a varied
geological composition perfect for wine-making, Large areas of red soils,
very rich in iron oxide, in common with more well known « grands
terroirs »
Our wine "Ange" has been lauded and recognised by wine professionals
since its first millésime in 2001. It received the Brussels Worldwide
Wine Competition “Grande Medaille d’Or”, which classifies
it amongst the 18 “grands vins” of the world.

CHARTREUSE
DE MOUGERES à Caux (Aa)
Wines : Coteaux du Languedoc, VDP d'Oc, Vin
de pays de Caux et son mousseux.
5 generations of family SAINT-EXUPERY followed one another around
2 domain of famous : Castle Péch-Céleyran and Chartreuse
de Mougères.
Built on an old Roman villa. One cultivated there the vine 2000 years
ago. The Chartreux fathers settled there in 1789 until 1977. Always owners
of the field they remain the witnesses of the monastic life and remain
guaranteeing quality of the wine.

CHATEAU
de ST MARTIN des CHAMPS à Murviel les Béziers( AB) (Gî)
Wines : St Chinian, Coteaux du Languedoc, Vin de Pays des
Coteaux de Murviel.
The owners Pierre and Michel BIROT are vine growers of wire father since
1675. They cultivate with great care and love their vineyard of 90 hectares.
Our wines are known in the whole world and present on the most prestigious
tables in the official dinners as in the Elysium with the National Assembly
and… at the White House.
Situation in the splendid site of the Castle of Martin Saint of the Fields
built at the XVIIe century near a Hermitage of VIIe century when halt
the Pilgrims made who went to Saint Jacques de Compostelle while passing
by Béziers. The splendid buildings are integrated since their origin
in the vineyard. Witnesses of the history, the immense stables and the
tanks with wines built out of stones of size, go back to 1752 and are
always in service in the cellars.
In the stone buildings of size of the House of the Vintagers we renovated
the old residences to create five rural Lodgings of great standing.

In 1978 Jacky Fournier takes back the family torch which continues since
five generations and transplants vineyards on the hillsides of origin
on a soil of exception. Our " Vintage Charles " aged in oak
barrel is the most brilliant fruit.

The vineyard consists of several small islands of various complementary
soils making it possible to work out wines of quality.
“It is the desire for creating wines which resemble to me, from
the wines between classicism and surprised, which justify me day after
day” but the words are nothing to return the feelings, come to taste
them with the domain.
The Domain Fabrégues, old transformed vault, in 1835, in farmhouse
vine grower of stones of the country reigns in the center of its 28 ha
of vines. It is located in the middle of Languedoc on slopes leaned with
the solid masses of the Cevennes and Black Mountain.

The 24 hectare Domain which 17ha in AOC St Chinian and 6 in VDP of Oc
is divided into 3 plots of land which allow us to make varied and harmonious
assemblies. To receive you a lodging is under construction, to discover

In 1175 in this convent the grounds were cultivated by the nuns.
Given up, the domain of 130 ha becomes family property at the XIX century
the vault of tasting is in the old vault.

Built on the vestiges of a Roman villa the castle took its current
aspect to the XVI and XIX century with its formal garden. The viticultural
tradition is very old there. The cellar was completely dug in the rock
at the 17th century to ensure a good temperature of conservation the wines.

It is at the beginning of the 80s when I adhered in the works of J P Argilier
and a little later, in those of C Bourguignon, on the life of grounds,
putting into practice their advice which facilitate the implanting of
the vineyard in an alive ground.
Patiently, I restored life in my soil, and humbly, by saying what
I make and by making what I say, always to work on the listening of the
nature and to wait for the gratitude(recognition) of the consumer for
this natural product.

The castle and its strengthened farm date the 13th century. Pressed on
the first cévenols foothills the vineyard enjoys a period of sunshine
emphasizing the typicité of our wines.
Wine growers since 6 generations, we welcome you in our house of charm
( classified Gîtes de France 4 épis) in the heart of scrublands
between Nimes and Montpelier, in one of our five guest houses in the sophisticated
decoration which could welcome 15 persons. You will discover the history
of our family, our domain and our high-quality wines, to the storeroom
or during an apéritif in the winter garden. Our guests meet themselves
in our lounges(shows), in the arched reception hall of the XIVth century
and in the court(yard) to savor breakfasts and hosts' tables (on booking).
The lovers of the sun will appreciate the solarium nested in the heart
of roofs, the others will cool in our swimming pool which we propose you
in the day. Animals admitted under conditions. Walks in scrublands, tennis
and area for playing boules in the village, in 40 minutes of the sea,
Uzès, Anduze, the Camargue, the Valley of the Hérault, the
